Flintknapping and Paleo Artwork by Richard Urata
Richard Urata is a long time member of the Puget Sound Knappers and the first Ooga Booga Chief of the PSK Clan. Instrumental in the growth and populartiy of the PSK, Richard, with help from his lovely wife Joan, published the PSK newsletter SPALLS for 10 years. An accomplished knapper (won the 10-speed competition at the 2011 Bitterroot Valley knap-in against 20 experienced knappers), Richard is also well know for his beautiful Paleo Art reproductions including harpoons, flutes and pipes. Richard also makes Didgeridoos and plays them at our knap-in!
Richard sometimes sells his incredible Paleo Art so if you are interested you can contact him @
