The 7th Annual South Sound  Gem, Opal & Mineral Show

(and Knap-in)

The Northwest Opal Association and The Cascade Mineralogical Society are hosting a rock and gem show in the Expo Hall at the Puyallup Fairground.  For the last few years the Puget Sound Knappers have been invited to demonstrate flintknapping to interest guests and participants.  We've been invited back this year and will have an area set up for flintknapping and displays.  PSK Members are invited to attend and demonstrate flintknapping.  The public turnout for this show is large and we get a number of people to participate and try their hand at flintknapping.  We've had several people join the PSK as a result of this show!

Please bring your own rock and toolkit and extras if you have them.  Also bring a display or two - there will be display tables available and they are alway a big hit with the audience.
